Affirmations Update

Dear Friends

Well another month has rolled around and as I look out the window of my office, I reflect on how truly blessed I am and a flood of gratitude flows throughout my entire being and I say, "Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for all my wonderful family, friends, the great people in my life and the rewarding work that I am so honored to do - teaching the power of the spoken word Affirmations and Positive Thinking."

I have experienced first-hand and as if by magic many, many completed Affirmations in my lifetime and I would like to share just a couple of them with you today.

When I was going through and sorting out some papers, I came across an Affirmation that I had written some eight years ago that I would become a Radio Talk Show Host. I had written it and forgotten about it. It was something I thought I would like to do some day in the future. And imagine about one year ago a young man, Greg Norman from Providence, Rhode Island, who is also a Radio Talk Show Host and involved in a radio station saw an interview over the Internet that I did with Nicole Whitney of News for the Soul. He was interested in what I had to say about Affirmations and Positive Thinking.

When we spoke on the phone on a radio program he asked me over the air if I would like to be a Radio Talk Show Host. I thought for a moment and then I remembered my Affirmation of many years ago. I accepted that position and that is how I got started doing radio shows. Now I have completed well over one hundred shows. Such is the power of Affirmations!

Yes I have used Affirmations on numerous occasions for many things, -ideal career; money; to overcome health issues, material things; new car; new husband, get parking spots and much, much more.

The 2 Master Affirmations that I call my B I G ones are as follows –

Master Affirmation Success for Urgent Health Condition of Baby Son.

1. 
When my son David was born he had two crooked feet. The medical profession said he would never walk unless he had surgery as soon as possible. At the time we were very poor and I remember saying to my eight month old son, “David you will walk!” And I repeated over and over during the day, “My son will walk.”

Several months later I was approached by the Shriners Organization, who took care of the travel expenses and paid for surgery in Spokane, Washington for my son David. Today you would never know there was ever anything wrong with his feet. This was forty years ago and at that time I was not aware that I was actually doing an Affirmation with feeling and belief that it would happen AND IT DID!

Now I know I was doing one of the most important Master Affirmations of my life.

FREED PETER KIMBER FROM PRISON IN MEXICO
(in 129 days, after he was told he was in for 18 years!)

On October 25th, 2006 at a Women’s Show in Abbotsford, B.C. Canada, I met Jessica and Julia who are two of Peter Kimber’s daughters. They both said that their wish was that their Daddy would come home. I asked them where he was and they said, “He is in jail in Mexico where he has been for the past 2 years.” I said, “Oh dear, how did that happen?” They told me he was in jail and charged with fraud - building without a permit.  I gave the girls one of my Affirmation books to mail to their dad and we all did an Affirmation right there that Peter would come home.

Then I called members of our Prayer/Affirmation Group. This is a Master Mind Group that meets in our minds, every evening at 11:00 o’clock p.m. Pacific Standard Time requesting that we all jointly affirm for health, protection and a quick release from prison in Mexico for Peter Kimber.

I also spoke to Mr. John Kennedy and asked for his assistance. Mr. Kennedy went to work and contacted many Agencies, Criminal Court, Judges, Prison Officials etc.  petitioning for Peter Kimber’s release.

This started a whole network of wonderful, loving, giving people, including Peter’s family, who all worked together to get Peter Kimber released.

At times it became quite discouraging, especially when Jessica one of Peter’s daughters called me and said her dad had been beaten and taken away in an ambulance. That night I can tell you there were Affirmations flying all over the place! We never gave up hope and it was worth everything to be present at the Abbotsford International Airport on Monday April 2nd, 2007 to see Peter Kimber re-united with his loving family back in Canada. That moment will be forever etched in my memory and one that I will always cherish.

Never underestimate the power of Affirmations, especially when a group of like minded people get together and affirm the same positive result.
